Marginedas freed

Spanish reporter Marc Marginedas has been freed after six months kidnapped in Syria by fighters of radical Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Marginedas, a seasoned war reporter working for El Periodico, was kidnapped last september 4th near Hama, when he was going to make a report about a village supposed to have been assaulted by al Assad forces. The ISIL fighters accused him to be a spy. During his abduction they moved him to different locations, more frequently lately due to the fierce fightings between rival rebel forces.
He is already back in Spain

  1. Why did they free him????

  2. I don’t know. It seems that they couldn’t hold him any more because of the fierce fighting and had to decide between kill him or release him and finally decided to free him.
