A US Federal Judge ruled that the NSA massive collecting of Americans’ phone records is likely unconstitutional.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Françoise Hollande are calling for bilateral talks with the US before the end of the year over the spying allegations on its citizens and in the case of Merkel on her own cell phone. The US denied this accusations.

French President Hollande called US president Obama over the NSA spying French citizens after Le Monde published a report about that. But the Le Monde also said that the French Government already knew about the US practices and that the French DGSE is doing exactly the same on its own citizens.

Le Monde denounces the existence of a “French Big Brother” independent of the NSA spying on French citizens that caused the summoning of the US ambassador

Now the Washington Post reveals that the NSA is collecting “hundreds of millions of contact lists from personal e-mail and instant messaging accounts around the world”, according to senior intelligence officials and top-secret documents provided by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden. The collection program, says the report, intercepts e-mail address books and “buddy lists” from instant messaging services as they move across global data links.
